About this event

Your Splunk deployment is only as good as the data feeding it — but not all data is created equal. In this session, the Houston and Denver Splunk User Groups come together for a candid conversation about data source and telemetry rationalization: how to identify what's actually worth keeping, what's burning your license and storage budget, and how to build a smarter ingestion strategy.

We'll kick things off with practical examples covering how to evaluate high and low value data sources, approaches to data tiering and storage options, and where modern pipeline tools fit into the picture. Then we open it up — because the most valuable insights usually come from the room.

Whether you're drowning in noisy logs, wrestling with indexing costs, or trying to make a case for rationalizing your data strategy, this is your session.
