How to filter, transform and forward events to multiple targets and Observability news.
Join us for the next Helsinki Splunk User Group meeting!
We will meet at Vltava in Helsinki, and there is also a remote participation option available.
This meetup includes two presentations followed by an “Ask the Expert” session, where you can bring your questions about Splunk.
Managing Ingest Data with Props and Transforms – The Traditional Way
In this presentation, you will learn how to manage input data streams using props and transforms, and how to forward data to splunk and a third-party target, like syslog, at the same time using traditional Splunk methods.
Juha will demonstrate how these tasks can be handled without using newer features such as Ingest Actions (IA), Edge Processor (EP), or Ingest Processor (IP).
In future user group meetings later this year, we plan to expand on this topic and explore how similar functionality can be implemented using IA, EP, and IP.
Observability News
Kim will share the latest updates and news from the Splunk Observability ecosystem, including new features and developments.
