About this event

Hej All,

Please join us on Tuesday 29th September 2026 for the next Splunk London User Group — and this one is a Swedish takeover.

We’re heading to the Cisco Finsbury Circus office (Floor 6) for an evening of agents, dashboards, pizza, and just a hint of IKEA. Splunk London User Group chair Aleem will be there, and both Aleem and Magnus will be dressed to impress, fezes freshly polished. (Yes, really.)

We’re excited to welcome two fantastic speakers from the Swedish Splunk community:

Magnus Lord — Splunk Trust, Platform Lead at IKEA. Rumour has it every attendee walks away with an IKEA Allen key. Some assembly required. Dashboards included.

Daniel Young — Splunk MVP, Founder of Deslicer, Splunk .conf25 speaker (DEV1666). Deslicer is Splunk’s EMEA Technology Innovation Partner of the Year.

Food and drinks will be served as always — including pizza topped with the finest meatballs. Because if you’re going to do a Swedish takeover, you do it properly.

Talk 1 — Dashboards that I love...
Magnus Lord, Splunk Trust, Platform Lead at IKEA

Magnus will show the dashboards he uses regularly in his work that can benefit others. It will be a deep dive into different Splunk SPL tricks, but also some dashboard tricks.

Think of it as a guided tour through the dashboards he actually lives in — the ones worth assembling, tightening, and taking home. Allen key provided.

Talk 2 — Let agents run Splunk. Keep the keys.
 Daniel Young, Founder, Deslicer

Cut your Splunk change backlog with agents, without giving them the keys.

Drafting conf is easy; shipping it safely is not. This talk shows one real hardening fix go agent → PR → your CI → human approval → signed apply on the host, with Deslicer as the gate. You leave knowing exactly how to let agents do the work while you keep control and keep the evidence.
