About this event

WORKSHOP: Build Your First Splunk App

TIME: As this is a full workshop with Q&A and one-on-one assistance, this meeting will run about 30 minutes longer than a typical one-hour Chicago Splunk User Group Meeting.

REQUIREMENTS: Must have your own device with Splunk Enterprise installed.

DESCRIPTION: Have you ever wanted to build your own Splunk app but not known where to begin? This workshop is for you! Learn how to create Splunk apps that extend the capabilities of the Splunk platform to meet your unique needs. We'll walk through the new Get Started Tutorial, which outlines the process for developing an app, from creating knowledge objects to setting up permissions and other customizations. This workshop is packed with information for novice app developers and will include lots of hands-on instruction.

See the Get Started Tutorial at https://dev.splunk.com/enterprise/tutorials/module_getstarted.
