To all my Splunk Teams and Enthusiasts, Are you ready to take your cybersecurity expertise to new heights? If your answer is yes, you do not want to miss our Capture the Flag (CTF) style activity known as the BOSS of the SOC (BOTS)! This is a game where participants play the role of SOC analysts and answer a variety of questions about common security problems. This realistic but fictitious enterprise environment is designed to stretch the defensive skills of security analysts and hunters by leveraging the Splunk product suite (Splunk Enterprise, Enterprise Security, SOAR, etc) to win. Date: Wednesday, November 1, 2023 Time: 9:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. CDT 10:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. EDT This will be an in-person event happening in our very own town: Columbus, OH AEP 1 Riverside Plaza Columbus, OH 43215 Come network with other security professionals, sharpen your security skills, and play to win! **Registration will close on Wednesday, October 25, 2023. ** Important things to note: - Each player/user MUST register themselves for the event via the form here: https://splunk.sjc1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_9RedvlYNoyfwPhY This is required as each player will need to accept the terms and conditions. - Each player will need to create or join a team. - There is a maximum of 4 people on any given team; however, smaller teams work. Individuals can even play alone and create a team of 1. We can't wait to see you there!
