Have you ever created something useful that you thought that you should share with others in the Splunk world but you have never published an app and it seems too complicated? Have you ever tried to use the appbuilder tools but gave up? Have you ever tried to use the app inspector tools but gave up? Come and learn how to do the absolute minimum and package and publish an app in just 30 minutes!  After this dinner you will walk away knowing:

1.) How manually package your Splunk Knowledge Objects into an app from the GUI.
2.) How to manually package your GUI-built multi-file app into a single app file from the CLI.
3.) How to publish your app to Splunkbase and interpret the site's responses.

This will be BOTH a virtual event AND a live event @ NEW BUILDING (SP2) in UTD:
3020 Waterview Pkwy, Richardson, TX 75080

It will also have signs for "SP2" on the building/doors.
Once you go into the building, it will be upstairs in the "Texoma" conference room (12.511).
