Join us to hear about Chris's adventure he went through last year with trying to ingest data from Azure GovCloud into Splunk. Hear about some of the differences between the two leading apps built to do so, and why he went with the one he didn't want to use, and some of the difficulties of getting it to work.
We will also discuss Splunk's RWI ( Remote Work Insights ) app that has come out and can help identify problems with the mass of new users working from home.

After spending nearly a decade trapped in the lightless depths of service desk and user support, Chris discovered Splunk at the Dallas Splunk Live event in May 2018. Cynical and doubting at first, he soon found himself looking forward to each subsequent draught of Splunk’s Kool-aid, attending his first conf, joining the Dallas Splunk User Group, and certifying Architect before the end of the year. Since then he has experienced supporting Splunk deployments of vastly differing sizes, from an all-in-one deployment with Enterprise Security on a 50GB license to a multi-cluster environment indexing over 30TB a day with over 200 indexers and over 200,000 forwarders. He is currently a Splunk Professional Services Consultant for Concanon, A BlueVoyant Company, and a Splunk Certified Consultant as of this past April.
