Many of us are familiar with Splunk as a tool, but where did it get it's start? Long before the GUI of Splunk, there were terminal tools and raw log searching. Join us as we explore the history of where centralized logging comes from and how we got to where we are at today, without discounting some of the amazing technology along the way.
