Good afternoon all,
Hope you are looking well and "lockdown3" isn't impacting you too much.
Firstly apologies for the short notice but I have been in contact with Renee Woods the Splunk community manager, there is a collective drive to hold as many Splunk user group events globally between 8th & 12th February Renee asked if we could move our scheduled 25th Feb event forward, sadly I knew our speaker Laks was out of the country.
Therefore I have been in touch with Mark Karlstrand from Splunk who is pleased to present to us all about SC4S. Some of you may or may have heard of this, may even be using it. Its Splunks referred method for collecting syslogs. Hopefully we will also have Mark Bonsack & Ryan Faircloth join us, who built SC4S.
Date = Thursday 11th February 2021
Starting = 19:45 (start time due to Mark being located on west coast of USA)
Ending = 20:45
Joining instructions will be sent out soon.
Spread the word to anyone who you feel would like to hear about SC4S, plus there is a leader board for which user group can get the most attendees, lets show them we are the best :-)
Also, Splunk have kindly put up a $100 raffle prize to one of the attendees. Its a $100 gift card for https://www.mypromomall.com/splunk shop. So to be within a chance to win the raffle prize, register for this event.
