Hope you are all well and all had a lovely relaxing festive period. Its hard to believe that we are nearly in February 2024 already ! Thought it was time to start the SLUG events for 2024. It’s with great pleasure to announce that Splunks (and SLUGs) very own Rupert Trueman is showcasing a app that he has co-developed. As usual this event will take on a hybrid format, so you have a choice to either come in person or join us remotely, it will be great to see as many of you as possible.

Description: With exploding data volumes, how can you find the anomalously behaving entities that are most threatening to the resilience of your organisation? This session will explore the Splunk App for Behavioral Profiling, a collection of workflows which enable you to operationalise detection and scoring of behavioural anomalies at scale in complex environments, correlated to profile and highlight the entities that are affecting resilience - designed to help use cases ranging from insider threat and fraud detection to service monitoring

Also I have decided to hang up the hosting of the Splunk London User Group so this will be my final event as host, after 6 years of running the London User Group I feel it requires a refresh and someone new to take over, so if any of you want to take over, have a word with Rupert of myself and we will happily explain what's involved.
