Nimish Doshi, Principal Solutions Engineer at Splunk, will talk about the Splunkbase app SplunkStart. SplunkStart helps users to learn Splunk to use your data in Splunk to populate dashboard templates (no SPL knowledge required).

Nimish Doshi will speak about SplunkStart, a free app available on Splunkbase that comes with template based dashboards that show off most of the out of the box visualizations that come up with Splunk. All the user has to do is discover their field names and input them into forms to power macros to use their data to show off analytics in the dashboards. In this manner, no SPL or dashboard creating knowledge is needed to create your first dashboards. Splunk admins can use this app as a way to introduce Splunk to new users and also use the built in capabilities to create more template based dashboards in due time.
