San Francisco Bay Area Splunk User Group
The first talk is on Splunk Data Management Processing: Solutions will be shown that enable data filtering, masking and routing and most importantly learn about a new capability launched by Splunk Data Management: logs metricization at ingest time. The second talk is on IPv6: The current internet landscape is rapidly exhausting IPv4 address space and what Splunk is doing about this issue.
Our November San Francisco Bay Area Usergroup will have two topics with a total of four Splunk speakers.
1. Splunk Data Management Processing:
Poornima Devarag and Felix Jiang both Principal Product Managers and Pramoth Priyadharshan Chandrasekar, Software Engineer, will introduce tools and solutions that enable customers to do data filtering, masking and routing. We will learn about a new capability launched by Splunk Data Management: logs metricization at ingest time.
2. Splunk and IPv6:
Martin Misciagna, Splunk Senior Solutions Engineer, will talk about Splunk and IPv6. The current internet landscape is rapidly exhausting IPv4 address space. This depletion is limiting the scalability and future growth of services and applications, including those hosted on the Splunk Cloud Platform. What is Splunk doing about this issue?
