Special guest Young Cho, Manufacturing Solution Strategist, joins the Sydney Splunk User Group to talk all things OT!
Let's kick off the year with a bang!
And to make sure that bang isn't coming from your machines, we'll have a special guest - Young Cho, Manufacturing Solution Strategist (see bio below) - visiting from the states to talk to us all about OT data and the cool new technologies that are going to massively simplify this space!
What is OT you ask? Operational Technology; think Data Center environment sensors (temp, humidity, etc), Office Buildings (wifi data, occupancy sensors), Industrial (equipment sensors, health & safety data), or Logistics (asset management, fleet management) - just to name a few!
We'll be hosting this event at the Splunk Office in North Sydney, and we would love to see you there. But in case you can't make it in-person, don't worry we will also be broadcasting the event over Zoom.
The event will start at 5pm for in-person attendees, and we'll kick off the Zoom call and formal presentations at 5:45pm.
When you RSVP, you'll be able to select an in-person or virtual ticket so that we know how many are coming.
So get ready for the pizza, drinks, and good times!!

COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease, and is spread mainly from person-to-person contact. People can be infected and show no symptoms and therefore spread the disease. Evidence has shown that COVID-19 can cause serious and potentially life threatening illness and even death; the risk of illness and death is even greater if you are not vaccinated. Federal, state, and local governments and federal and state health agencies have issued/recommended a number of health and safety guidelines and requirements to reduce transmission.
Please note that it is not possible to completely eliminate the presence of COVID-19. Consequently, even if you are vaccinated, Splunk cannot prevent you from becoming exposed to, contracting, or spreading COVID-19 while utilising Splunk’s premises or attending any in-person Splunk-hosted event. Therefore, if you choose to utilise Splunk’s premises or attend a Splunk-hosted event, you may be exposing yourself to and/or increasing your risk of contracting or spreading COVID-19, and you knowingly assume that risk. For more COVID-19 information, refer to the WHO, CDC and OSHA.
