As the Public Sector Splunk world is pretty small, I figured I would open up the group and ask if folks wanted this to be a place where those newer could seek mentoring towards growing their careers in this sub-field, as well as sharing job opportunities. Once I get a few more members, I'll schedule the first virtual event which will be the information/challenge/success sharing initially planned, but this was another piece I was debating on if folks would be interested in.
I know we work for various customers/companies so trying to keep it fair to everyone and not do anything exclusive to anyone, but seeing if sharing jobs inside a niche circle would also help.
Chime in on if you are for, against, or indifferent to this. Every voice matters, and I wouldn't want it to turn into a spam thing either.
